ABOUT INNER SPACE: Inner
Space is owned and run by skaters for skaters. The park was opened in
the fall of 2003, by owner Mike Martinez. Mike has been skateboarding
for over 15 years, and grew up skating the streets of San Francisco
(EMB) and the surrounding Bay Area. After moving to Seattle in 2000,
Mike felt there was a need for a good indoor skatepark in such a wet
and cold climate. And so, Inner Space was born... Inner Space has hosted demos for Nike, LRG, Popwar, Manik, Fallen, Matix and others, along with seasonal contests and events, and continues to provide a positive community, hub and training facility for local skaters. Our current staff is:
